Y’all gotta make up y’all minds, a nikka rap over drumless samples they dusty....they rap over samples with modern drums and 808s and thats a problem?

DRUMS have to have a certain feel depending on the production. Those cheap ass trap drums like the way swizz used on "Special delivery" sample for wayne in 10 years are gonna sound crusty as f*ck, it's a reason why G-Deps version sounds crisper than Wayne's. There's a method of using modern drums on sampled production and i get the producers that are doing this hardly ever sampled in their lives thats why it doesn't have that FEEL like a just blaze or a RZA would do. Hell i hold Swizz accountable for that debacle, he should know better, he samples.

a good use of "Trap drums" would be on Meek's "All eyez on you" it had that FEEL, it blended in perfect and hit every angle. Mike Will Made It is good at that as well even though he samples rarely. Whoever made Future's Mask On was def ON POINT with the drums on that sample. and that's a "MODERN DRUM" sound. Some of these soundcloud esque producers need to take a few courses or at least learn a bit on the art of sampling. NO NOT EVERYONE CAN DO THAT, THAT SH*TS AN ART!

The fact Meek created classic songs with both of them (Jump Out The Face and We Ball) and they all came up with Splash Warning? A throwaway joint for strippers and thotties

That's the only song off the album just flat out wack.

Oodles O Noodles sounds like it would've fit right in on Reasonable Doubt. Would be cool if we got more joints like that, very soulful but it's still a strong album.
