There were none.. it's a good song though. But that's the problem.. all great disses had quotables. Back to back isn't a great diss but it has quotables... if Meek can start making good punches with a good songs he can take it..

Him calling drake a dancing fruit cake is not gonna cut it..

Though when drake said "Chris breezy with the dance moves/mo g with dance moves/Jimi Hendrix with the solo those are strings that you can't pull" he swagged all over that shyt...

To bad he probably didn't write it

A rare balanced view. Prerry accurate post overall

I thought the line about taking the OVO chain was pretty good. Kinda basic but it had a certain rawness to it.

I like the song overall becuz of that tho. The feeling I had was he was going to slap the shyt outta Drake after he left the booth.

Summer Sixteen was just him bragging about doing shyt that Meek can't do, which is cool, but if you actually like rap, you gotta question if Drake wrote the shyt.

Speaking of... Does Drake have a line where he actually addresses the ghostwriting issue? Has there been an interview where the interviewer asked about having ghostwriters?

That's the problem drake is so powerful the guy doesn't have to do interviews anymore smh have you also noticed how ever since the blackberry incident he hasn't done a freestyle at all. That Tim Westwood crap was terrible he could barely recite written lines

Fader's editor in chief (

) wrote an entire article copping pleas for Drake. Talking about ghost writing ain't a big deal in rap.

Around a month later he did an interview with them, and they kinda half way asked him about it, but he ducked the question and changed the subject.

It's a dirty game. :manny:

Hes talking to 50 Cent

I don't think he is.

While 50 is on Instagram posting funny pictures Meek Mill is in 50's hood with real gangsters, saying free Supreme

Whether that line was aimed at 50 is debatable seeing that Drake got a homie/goon named P-Reign from Brooklyn who took his name directly from Preme and the Supreme team. Could work either way but more dots connect with him mentioning Brooklyn and robbing is chain, doubt them nikkas even wanna attempt that.

what does that mean........

My post from earlier in the thread:

So I guess he wasn't talking about 50 with that Preme line.

He was getting at one of Drakes goons/homies named P-Reign apparently.

Where did you get the name P Reign?

The P stands for Preme. I lived in Brooklyn for two years, I did junior high there. I spent the summer at my aunt’s in Queens, and they always used to tell me stories about the drug dealers, the Supreme Team, and about Kenneth “Supreme” McGriff. When I came back to Canada, I started hustling and I was like “call me Preme” and that name stuck. To this day, my parents and close friends call me Preme. Then when I started rapping, I realized I needed a rap name, and since I reigned supreme I ended up flipping that into the name.

That's why he said the "real Preme"

It's all gonna come to a head at Rappamania 32 :wow:

Drake & 50 (with G-Unit and ghostwriters) vs. Meek & Ross (with Nicki and Tory Lanez) - MMG Tag Team Championships
Amber vs. Kim - Thot Championship
BoB vs. Neil DeGrasse Tyson
GFK (with Wu Tang) vs. Martin Shkreli (with Goons) - Winner gets control of the $1 million Wu Tang album
Future vs. Russell Wilson (with Ciara)
Bobby Shmurda & Max B vs. The US Justice System - Handicap Match
Lupe vs. Cudi
Game vs. Stitches - Hardcore Championship

A$ap Rocky and Travis Scott don't even make the card. That burial. :wow:

never really spent the time to listen to Meek, but I think this is best diss track since Ether to be honest...

if he had dropped this right after those tweets, things would've been different for his career

There is no L in this for career. Fans of this generation have ADHD, selective memory and are fickle as hell.

Go look at Drake Instagram, shyt is full of L's and emojis :laff:

He's more famous than he's ever been and is on the winning side right now.

He's alright

I thought it was blatantly against Fif but that shyt makes sense too. Although P Reign is kind of a non factor so I dunno why he'd even bother mentioning him? Might as well diss that ginger weirdo Brian

Ain't no telling what's going on behind the scenes, especially since he seem like he move around on the east coast and is riding for Drake.
