Not Ether, however the hype about how bad it is is way overblown. shyt was a solid diss track that if targeted at somebody else would have resonated more.

I do think Drake's was somewhere near The Takeover level though.

You gotta respect Meek because dude went out firing with reference tracks and a diss. Who knows what would have happened if his diss was executed better.

Which leads to: they both put on theatrics and played to the crowd/audience. Both of their timings and build-ups were great. Drake just came with Back To Back out of nowhere, and although people were saying for Meek to stop talking about it, that talk lead to some great build-up because we were all tuned in.

Some of those cats dissing Meek can learn a thing or two about creating anticipation for their own careers.

You seemed like you were really feeling the song in the thread

I did in the beginning when he sampled the QM Know Yourself track because I was thinking if that was how he started it, I can't even imagine how bad it's gonna get as the song goes on. Then it dropped off and everything else after that I expected to hear (and half of what he said was hard to understand). I've been saying it since Meek's DJ tweeted that atomic bomb picture. If it was really gonna slay, Meek had to drop the references. And he DID play his cards right because that was the real blow. If he hadn't released the reference tracks but still released that diss as is, Meek would've been extra done. Those reference tracks are what slightly saved this and it still doesn't seem to matter in the grand scheme of things. I'm a fan of Drake but I'm not gonna lie, I didn't expect people to not care this much about the tracks. I didn't expect Drake to ever lose in public opinion tho.
