"it was around 4 am..and the "Fam" was still getting wound up , but the night came to an abrubt end because of the manager of CLUB 112 denying access to BMF to enter the club based on the chaos that took place on a previous night"..

"Meech told me to come to "the crib" later that day, he gave me his number and told me to call when i was ready to come through.

"Around four o clock that afternoon i hollered at MEECH and he gave me directions to the crib...the house was a mini-mansion off of Habershabm in the Buckhead Area behind the Landmark Diner on Roswell Road....it was early so there were only a few luxury cars there ..a silver 745 BMW, a navy blue custom van on chrome rims and a Cadillac XLR Convertible , that wasn't slated to be released on the market for a couple of months from then but Meech was able to get one at about $30,000 above the sticker price.

I didn't enter the front door of the "crib"....i entered through the two ca garage and came into the kitchen. This was the way that all entered the spot, which caused it to be christened "CLUB KITCHEN and believe me, the name was appropriate.

Thier was only a few of the homies in thier at the time along with these two brown-skinned Hispanic gentlemen standing in the kitchen beside Meech. The smell of exotic and expensive marijuana permeated the air and i immediatly located the source as soon as i stepped in the kitchen.

Meech was leaning against a black marble island/stove in the middle of the kitchen floor with a pound of exotic green busted open right next to him. Meech was rolling a blunt and we got into a conversation about the magazine's content.

Then Meech suprised me and stated ..he wanted to put his "movement" in the magazine (DON DIVA) ...

i asked "what do you mean?"

"I want us to be in your magazine as the first dudes in that are balling out but we not all in jail and we not dead..."..... i ain't kidding ...i want them to know that we ain't robbing nobody , we ain't busting no checks, , we ain't fukking with no credit cards and this ain't no counterfeit money that we out here spending in the clubs every night..this is real street money...we the MOB..and we STILL HERE!"

I paused for a moment to process what Meech just said considering he just asked to be placed in the "Hottest" magazine in America..and by "HOT" i mean law enforcement agencies from local to federal followed our magazine releases religiously...

I responded..."And how long do you expect to maintain this status?!?!" :mindblown:

and turned to his Latino guests and asked ..."entiende?!?" :ld:

....they responded in english...

"yeah...." :yeshrug:

thier attitudes were just as cavalier as Meech's..... :deadmanny:

Meech replied..."I ain't worried"...:ehh:

Dumb has nothing to do with it, its ego!

Like @NoChill Jones said, there are many who get away with dirt, but you have no clue who they are, because they aren't addicted to the fame. You can see Meech loved the fame because he was out partying with tons of people driving high end cars, wearing tons of REAL jewelry, and the worst thing to keep form being secret, he had a whole bunch of hoes. They tell everything.

You can be smart as Einstein, but if you can't control your emotions, you will get got. Nothing more, nothing less. I seen the love fame get the best of them, even me. Do you know what its like to have everyone "love" you? Tell you how smart you are? Tell you that you're the man? All the hoes want you? Just being a regular guy with a nice car, and a nice house, is hard for a lot of street people, because its all about bragging how you came up. The only people who can stay silent is people who have a love for something besides fame or being liked. If you don't like people, you can get money, and stay out of sight, because you never trust anyone, and always a step ahead.

This song really describes the situation:

I think he thought he was going to get into the music game faster then he did. He probably thought he can do what Jay-Z did, but it was the real deal. The problem is he wanted to do this while still trapping. He just was too comfortable that is all, because he knew he was being watched, he just really thought they couldn't find evidence. If you been at it for so long, I guess you just forget the game you're playing, because you are living the high life, and YOU are the boss.

I know it sounds crazy, but in his case, he should have stayed away from the weed, and alcohol, it just makes you too relaxed. Being as big as he was, he needed to be paranoid at all times!

what songs sampled this song?

Funny thing is, I never even heard of this song....

but as soon as I saw the title of the song

and that it was a woman singing it....

I automatically knew what the chorus was going to sound like

that chorus is familiar, I'm pretty sure its been sampled before

It's been flipped a few times. First time I remember hearing the chorus was from Scarface's "Street Life" from the South Central soundtrack I believe.
