I'm going to say this, take it how y'all want, but these candidates have to go out there and earn those votes. I saw it with Randall Woodfin in Birmingham. He came to my city and he even said he had went all the way to Pittsburgh just for the slight chance it might drum up support for his campaign. They got to get out there hustling, making promises, and trying to get people to the polls. Also, that might require some of you all actually getting some skin in the game outside of going at coli posters. People can do phone banks or canvas an area for a candidate. Out of close to a 650K only 90K voted...the coli ain't that big, Tariq (whether people misconstrue his message or not) doesn't have that many fans, and I'm confident most people in that city don't have a record that would disallow them from voting. I want to say statistically candidates and people who are helping them have to interact with people 3 times just to get them to vote. So if people want to help or get people out to the polls, I wouldn't waste time on here with people saying they going to hold their vote cause 2018 is here and its going to go quicker than people think. Just saying people need to vote and being disappointed if they don't, at least for me, isn't going to cut it anymore.
