Alabama is 30% Black. That is more than enough people to change the result of the election.
I am happy with the results. I am not happy if they keep the status quo. There has to be a lot more done by Black Atlanta to maintain survival. It's not DC. They have the state Senate dikking them on where to allocate funds. The the supported Blacks tends to look the other way when everyone else Black is getting fukked then when they need them, they making plantation videos picking cotton and shytYo Foreal why is @#1 pick so Mad at the result?!

That's because Atlanta has too many fractions of clicks. It's not like other cities where the Black elite dominates. Blacks in Atlanta is different than anywhere else. They have their own views and circles.
That's the one thing I do miss about politics especially in Atlanta. The issue is what we saw in 2009 and 2017.
She's basically a white politician at this point. She does care about the Black poor far more than Fenty and Gray but she don't look out for Black government like some of the others did to an extreme degree but as all Black DC mayors, they stay with Black contractors and it's clear, they move you into Gold Coast, they make sure you work for their interest, you maintain whites interests and you could have a nice 8 year stay. The middle Black is not her interest far my stance when I was in the area. But more than some others, she's been all in for poor Blacks. Maintaining their presence is critical.
Let's be real, these high rises got a lot of Blacks but majority is whites who are young and they always vote locally white. I never understood why people said it is the old people racist. Not in DC, it's the young ones.

And I agree with you as far as Bowser, but breh, this politics game is just that, a game. And if you’re not willing to pay to play, you’re on the sideline. I worked on multiple campaigns while in school (undergrad and law) and the organization and money some of these bigger guys have, it’s crazy to think some folks even have a chance. I mean that on the council side too and I’m referring to all of the DMV.
There is old black money here too and they damn sure don’t want anybody messing up their meal ticket so they do a great job of planting division while they’re not giving you anything other than a familiar face in a position of power. They’re not bringing anything new to the table, nor are they providing programs and incentives that will help the working poor in the long run. Anytime someone comes around with this sort of talk, they lil bro them and get their donors to wipe them clean out the game. They don’t want to let the new guard in unless they approve of them first. Same problem with the Dems... that, in and of itself, effectively removes any real change.
