Real talk, Vegeta was nothing but a spoiled crybaby ass lame. He spent 90% of the series swinging from Goku's nuts whining about how unfair it is that Goku was stronger than him. I mean, usually the Super Saiyan transformation is unlocked due to the rage of loss, but this dude Vegeta went Super Saiyan out of pure jealousy and spite.

And that's not even going into the MASSIVE laundry list of Ls he took, of which about 75% were self-inflicted.

I can't lie, he has the most swagged out kills in anime history. Vegeta is just way more deeper than Kakarot as a character.

When you think about it. Vegeta was always the guy to give that extra push to beat all the final Villians. I understand he couldn't always "win" but he was very vital to Goku/Gohan winning.

During the Frieza saga that pep talk he gave on his death bed to Goku about saiyan pride and what a monster Frieza truly was really gave Goku that extra push to beat Freiza.

During the Cell saga, Vegeta gave a ki blast at cell that helped distract him long enough for Gohan to kill him.

During the Buu saga. Vegeta got his ass kicked so Goku could do the spirit bomb.

Say what you want about who is stronger between goku and vegeta, but it seems like vegeta's anger fueled raw power is unmatched even by Goku. And I truly believe if Vegeta was taught by all the people Goku was taught by, Vegeta would be way above Goku.

Think about it. Vegeta has trained himself by himself his whole life.

The Galick Gun is HIS. The Big Bang Attack is HIS. The Final Flash is HIS.


Goku doesn't really have an attack or move that is "his". Everything Goku knows he's learned it from someone else.

Vegeta's best quality is his pride, but its also his biggest downfall. And now that Vegeta is starting to swallow his pride a lot more and even allow himself to be trained by Wiess, I think your going to see the gap between Goku and Vegeta get smaller and smaller.

Edit: Yo peep that last sentence I just wrote. It's got me feeling some type of way. I never thought I'd get to talk about my favorite childhood series DBZ like I do the other animes I watch. It's always been a show that was basically over by the time I got into it. But I finally get to speculate on it in real time before its even been released in Japan. I'm really excited that DBZ finally has a future again after its been dead for so long.

I agree with most of this, but let's not act like Vegeta was always WAY stronger than Goku up until when they finally met.

And Goku was only trained by King Kai that one time before the fight with Vegeta. The nikka trained himself afterwards too

Just cuz dude was in the afterlife with King Kai after Cell killed him didn't mean he wasn't training by himself. The fukk could they have taught him? lol
