I was JUST thinking about him yesterday. 
We were watching Wreck It Ralph (I never watched in full, wanted to finish before watching the sequel) and there’s a character in there named Gene, who was being mean. Ralph said something like, “Listen here, Gene” and I was thinking what if he referred to him as ‘Mean Gene’ the way Hoegan used to do. 
But anyway, R.I.P. to one of the GOATs in wrestling. From his classic interviews to WWE Confidential, he will go down as a legend.
