Yea I wanted it to make my top 20, but I hadn't seen it in so long I forgot to even consider it, but I do agree: its one the best comedies ever and one of the best comedic performances ever on film...Carrey is BRILLIANT in it and I don't say that often about comedies.

You missing out on a classic. The problem most people had with it was that it was too "dark." it was advertised incorrectly as a lighthearted comedy, but audiences were shocked with how dark it really was, so they rejected it. But it doesn't excuse the fact that the movie is really great with a great story and a career defining performance for Jim Carrey.
