Do people realise how incredible a song like Death Around the Corner really is? That increased paranoia, that heightened tension, that amazing hook:wow:. He gave you a Shakespearean tragedy and you still have the nerve to compare him to BIG. It isn't even fair to Christopher; he never had a chance :wow:

Far and away pac's best album.

That's how i feel.
I still love Me against the world. It's in the same category as goat goat goat GOAT GOAT GOAT :damn: albums. Only him and Nas got it.
I dont care if you love it or not. Placing that average shyt next to it is belittling it and shows you dont love it enough, you brainwashed buffoon

I go back and forth….but this is maybe my favorite Pac album…..regardless, it's one of my favorite albums ever, all time. That shyt was my soundtrack as I felt like it was me against the world, as I lost a really close friend in high school, doing coke, drinking and eating pills everyday, lighting blunts and not going to school. Hustling in my neighborhood…..the memories. My boy and I rode out this album, 'Outlaw' & 'Heavy In The Game', passenger side with my scale breaking up work weighing up on the center consule…. I remember riding in my boys navigator after my friends wake, maybe 5 of us, passing around a bottle of hennessy, hitting it straight.. I'm taking valium and my face and teeth are numb, heart is racing and kinda broken ...I cried at the wake, hugging my boys girls and his Mom… I kept running back 'Death Around The Corner' which felt like some very real shyt at the moment, and during that whole time...One of the best, most heartfelt hip hop love tracks was 'Can U Get Away', but that shyt spoke to me beyond the songs concept, the soft singing 'I'm not happy here'…I would be lost in the blunt smoking, daydreaming about a different life...
