cap is supposed to be the ultimate leader, the one who we entrust to defend us and make the tough decisions.

i don't think any rational hero would behave as cap does towards bucky. the guy is clearly not the man you knew and is a clear and present danger to the world. whatever relationship you had in the past has no baring on the current situation. by insinuating that cap struggles with this the filmmakers are essentially admitting that he is a beta fukk who can't get over his feelings.

at the end of winter soldier cap LAYS DOWN HIS LIFE and risks being killed by bucky because he didn't want to fight him. i'm sorry that is fukking ridiculous. if you didn't know any better you would think he's romantically in love with him, it's that over the top.

in old yeller they don't let the mad dog live in the end, they shoot it down. yes it's sad but it was the humane and responsible thing to do. the moral of that story is to exhibit the harsh truth that in life we must all make tough choices. you would think that captain america, the hero of all heroes, would have it in him to do the same. if there's anyone who should be able to put down a rabid dog, it's cap.

but nah... instead we get

Cap isn't perfect he loved his best friend and let it blind him to the entire picture of the situation. And many have extrapolated it is indeed romantic. :dame:
Bucky at the end of Civil War even tells dude he is kinda bugging going this out of his way for him. Even tho he is brainwashed he did do all that heinous shyt.
But he did it and it made for a great story. Cap gets a Mulligan in my book. He's basically perfect in every other sense.:manny:

cap's behavior in civil war actually makes a strong case FOR the avengers being regulated.

if cap would risk the safety of others just to protect his friend then he is no position to exist above the govt.

Dude Google 'Bucky and Captain America' there are women and gays 'shiping' them all over theworld. Be aware of your surroundings.

i'm not saying the movie makes the case that they are lovers... i'm just using it as an example to show how over the top cap's love and sacrifice for bucky really is. it crosses the line of just 'friend' territory, especially if you're a superhero whose job it is to protect.

That's his boy and his one last tether to a world he left behind. It makes sense that he'd try to do everything in his power to save him. Does that mean he's right for all the moves he's made? Particiarly when it came to keeping secrets? Hell nah. He's guilty of the same compartmentalizing he gave Fury hell for. But doesn't make him "beta" because of his affection for his best friend. They're not just superheroes; they're human and humans are complex.

shyt if it were my best friend, I'd be just as conflicted by it and would probably do the same thing if it meant saving his life or protecting him.

Bucky had his back when he was just skinny ass Steve Rogers.

Cap is loyal, and Bucky was a VICTIM - Tony even acknowledges that he jumped the gun at the end of Civil War (before he sees the footage of his parents getting killed).

Cap wasn't just protecting Bucky, he was trying to save him. He also saw through those Sokovia accords bullshyt ass reports that Tony and the other flunkies signed off on because Cap is loyal to ideas and not to fickle people.

I'll wait for the Infinity War scene where Tony and his team have to wait on their bosses to tell them they can go and fight Thanos  and then get blamed for any damage Thanos might've caused while Tony and flunkies sacrifice their lives to protect the earth :mjlol:

Team Ironman can :camby:

Yeah definitely not in the movie. But the subtext is there. In Civil War when they have a scene of them just silently riding an elevator together. I even thought, ''is this shot necessary?!" lol
