Of course.
You build wealth through life insurance.
I would hope.
If they were giving out loans.
I mean record deals.
They would have policy on artists.
If they do not.
they are inept.

Who doesn’t insure their assets if possible and the finances make sense.

Thing is that the insured must give its consent. If you Google it, you’ll see that Bushwick Bill said Rap-a-lot forced their artists to get it to get a deal. The article also says it’s rare but not uncommon, indicating that they only do it with people who live reckless lives, people with bad health and when the finances make sense.

The shyt is no more than a 100 a month lol

I pay $33 for 300k coverage

I hate that this is a thing

I'm really big on personal responsibility

Your management team thats taking money from every show you do ...should be helping you with that if your not smart enough to do it yourself

its not the labels job to do that

you not paying your taxes is not the labels job

Ok fine i will give you first contract to sign a shyt deal

what about eveytime else :francis:

At SOME point you hav to look in the damn mirror call up the IRS and make a deal a payment plan do more shows to pay it off

they work with every one and you damn sure gettng the calls and letter :gucci:

And if the label have life insurance on you ....how can you not know that :francis:

I question ....

Why dont artists get health insurance for themselves

They got the money right?

:yeshrug:
"Health" insurance and "Life" insurance aren't the same thing. Life insurance is a policy when you die and the policy holder/benefactor receives money. I'm sure you can see the obvious conflict in that when it comes to a record label.

Corporate America moves…Walmart does that sh!t. There was a story a few years back where one of their workers died. They had a life insurance policy on her and collected $75,000. Her husband couldn't afford the funeral and asked them to help :feedme:

You already know what the answer was:camby:
