Some rappers were mad and said something, some played the politics game, some tried to do some damage control unity shyt, and some sucked his dikk and defended him like slaves.
I'll tell you why some people were mad, he lied and said he never used the word, he was allowed a pass by some into Hip Hop and the culture and some black people embraced him yet he had long held racist views, the actual tapes are disgusting what he's saying, he was racist to the whole black race. If he had had these tapes publically prior him having blown up he wouldn't have blown up. This should have ended his career but people are playing a political game mostly and the fact he had artists signed such as 50 and Proof who had some ties in the street made it difficult for some to diss him politically. And plus him bing on a huge label at the same with a lot of power in the music industry.

It's not even a black and white thing at all. It's a racist vs non racist thing. It makes me SICK when black people defend him like black woman aren't part of the black race or even human. John Lennon said "women are the ****** of the world" then what about the black woman?
He did loose black fans cause of it, but unfortunately a lot of people don't have a back bone or self respect.

Yeah, wasn't dissing Lennon and I certainly believe in womens rights and equality and feel the struggle they deal with, but black woman are women AND black so it's an extra struggle, that's why I can't tolerate them being disrespected like that.
