He was, but he was making it as an actor...not as a rapper. Chinese rap (and most Chinese music) is terrible for the most part and nobody in China listens to anything but pop ballads.

Good for him. More artists need to move on and stop feeling like rap is some blood in/blood out shyt despite their relative failures, and more fans need to respect that and stop trying to ridicule/shame artists the second they don't live up to whatever illusion we've created of them.

Not putting this on OP or anyone in the thread, but so often the main people who can't wait to make fun of rappers/entertainers never took a chance in their life. Let people live.

I'm not gonna lie if that was his first time he has potential to be good. Most comedians don't have that charisma starting off...it wasn't bad.....there's potential
