You under estimate the level of animosity between the sunni's and Shia. It will never happen...Feels like Saudis have the upper hand in that region because of the US military bases in that country so they like to talk recklessly. The natural order of things in that region (in my opinion) is Persian domination. And that's only being kept in Check by US and Israel but I don't know for how long. If Iran gets the nuke it's over. They will most likely invade Saudi Arabia because the Saudis would also want to get a bomb as a deterrent
