MBIII was a pure money grab. It had no business being made.

MIBIII was good. Not great, not bad, but good.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Seven Pounds tanked

I thought this was a rumor right up until I saw the first trailer, this was a sequel literally no one asked for

I hope Independence Day 2 stays a rumor too

Seven Pounds was a good movie for what it was. white people make sappy movies like that all the time and get mad passes and even oscars. I liked it.

Yes. Day day made both 2 and 3 and he was better in 3 so 3>>. Day day in 3 gave me nearly as much laughs as Smokey in 1. Top flight security of the world Craig... THE WORLD :laff: :wow:

People(industry sources) are saying the budget was from 225 to 300 million for MIB3 and the movie underperformed last weekend. Sony was expecting the movie to do 80 million last weekend, movie only did 70 million. They should've let the franchise R.I.P after part 2.

I enjoyed Friday after next, day day, money mike and crackhead santa had me :laff:

One of his best movies too imo :manny:

Not a dry eye in the house after that one.
I agree I liked it

The problem with it was it was too hard to market, the trailers were weird and you really couldn't say what the movie was about without ruining the whole thing

They probably thought Will could sell it off his name alone, he's big but he ain't THAT big

MIB3 hasn't done well at the Box Office though.

It's budget was 230 million (some sources say higher). It's definitely not a flop, but it has underwhelmed..

What did they expect choosing a summer with avengers, dark night rises, prometheus, new spiderman, expandables. It was hardly gonna be the movie of the summer was it, with all this competition. They shoulda released it last year, it would have done better. People aint made out of money they cant go and see everything.

True.

But I guess they banked on Will Smith giving them the edge.

But making a sequel to a franchise 10 years after the last one is a big enough mistake. Kids aren't gonna know wtf it's about, or wanna watch it. That's where they lost heavy.
