Exactly, that's my point the only real comp is not in his weight class.. But there isn't really anybody else

Thats what happens when you retire twice and fight once a year. They beat each other up while Floyd

What do people want from Flyod?

He beat everyone from his era. Only fight that didn't happen was Pacman.

What and who has he ducked?
What you want him to be 40 and still fighting 20 somethings?

He's done it all. Enjoy the greatness

are you serious? dude stop typing...all those guys above except Baldomir and Gatti have flurried, thrown heavy leather in bunches. You pick a good highlight of Alvarez pummeling a guy as if that would happen to Floyd. I saw three openings in that clip where Floyd would counter the shyt out of Canelo and move off the ropes.

While you can find the ever so random highlights of them, I can pick ANY Canelo fight because Canelo does that shyt in EVERY fight, almost every single round.

There is no other fighter that Floyd has faced in these past 10 years that throws as many combinations as Saul Alvarez....none.

Floyd did well tonight with a broken hand. I saw he was taking half runds off and he still whooped Ghost easily. Now it's funny that people think Canelo can beat Floyd. Canelo will not be able to get off like he did against the blown up 140-147 boxers.

I don't see anybody that can beat him btw

Oh, please I need that Showtime theme song brehs :wow:

That's true.

I've already stated that I believe Floyd would beat Alvarez, just that it wouldn't be an easy fight.

Alvarez would actually be a legitimate risk for Floyd Mayweather simply because of the size, hand speed, power, and combinations that Alvarez punches with.

Best fight out there for Floyd, but also the least likely to be made out of all avaiable contenders, because doesnt feel the need to take risks anymore....and I cant blame him.

Selfishly, I want them to fight, but Floyd (no matter how great he looks in the ring) is still fighting against Father Time.
Nah, I agree that Canelo is the only other threat. And his physical skills give him a chance. But I don't know if he has the technical skills to match up. He's it though.

Well, besides Tim Bradley's dumbass but that's never gonna happen.

On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
Ali is better based on comp.

You gotta be :skip::flabbynsick:

So a fighter who's been fighting for 17 years that never been dropped isnt better at defense than a fighter who's been down numerous times with concussions, broken jaws and took so much punishment that it made his brain mush?

Back to lurking I go, brothers like you don't know boxing.

Hardwork and dedication

another wash for Mayweather

The most impressive thing to me about mayweather is that these dudes usually throw 70-80 punches a round then when they fight floyd they only throw 10-20

what a master

thats like you al capone shooting everybody up but when you run into the wrong neighborhood you wanna "negotiate"

Good job champ.

Fact remains, He has a loss, where he got stopped!:whoo: He has no chance of seeing money. And as much as he goes for the KO, hes begging to be countered into Oblivion.

Lay off that hennessee bruh. Drink 2 glasses of water, take a tylenol and hit the sack.

U do realize ortiz had a worse loss where he jus quit and he still got a money fight

Jesus u can say that about every fighter than can go for the ko so floyd should fight guys that dont go for the ko interesting lol

:salute:1st off...hard work...dedication. Like to thank Al ''never be seen'' Haymon. Personally i dont think floyd lost a round. What a way to show that he's not slowing down. In the later rounds he was dancing and moving - no sign of tired legs. he completely neutralized Guerrero, I mean, what more can you say. The right hand man...the right hand. This fight is a testament to how good Cotto looked that last fight. We may have seen the last of Roger Mayweather as the lead trainer - Sr. just had a heck of game plan and training camp! Who's going to beat floyd man? Alvarez? we seen his last fight...he's not ready. FLOYD MONEY MAYWEATHER JR...IF YOU'RE RICH MINDED YOU DOWN WITH THE MONEY TEAM!
