Some background on Floyds relationship with Hayes

hayes was originally from detroit. he moved to the bay and started rapping. dropped a mixtape that didn't sell. but industry people noticed his skill and dr dre signed him. dr dre was supposed to work on album and distribute it through interscope. however dre literally moves like a glacier. game was in same circumstances and ended up being assigned to 50 cent. so 50 took an interest in hayes. the few songs hayes and dre produced weren't really that hot. and with dre's slow effort it was going to take forever to get a full choice of songs. running aroudn with 50 is how he met floyd. floyd tells him that he's about to start a label and invest millions in it and hayes will be featured.

hayes leaves dr dre. floyd was just blowing smoke up his ass and added him to his entourage. he then spent years hanging around floyd and no label was formed. guy i knw who was managing him when he first signed with dre, told me a story of how hard he had fallen. chick in their click talked smack to floyd. floyd to show how little this chick was to him, said he could have her beat up for 100 dollars. he then throws the 100 bill on the table and says whoever does the deed gets the money. hayes flew across the table and slugged this chick in the face for the 100 dollars.
