If Floyd has no choice but to take the rematch, then so be it. but I have a feeling that even when he beats him more clearly, nikkas gonna harp on the first bout even more and say Maidana should of won the first fight.

Listen breh. I know Porter has a mandatory so he cant fight in Sept. I know Thurman wont be a big draw for the ppv, I know Khan has Ramadan, I know the issues surrounding the Cotto fight. I know Maidana would be a big draw, and since he gave floyd a close fight, it "makes the most sense"

It doesn't matter, neither does my opinion but mines is more within the lines of reality breh. Floyd is his own boss and all that but he answers to the Showtime execs cutting his checks. The casuals thought it was a close fight and or Maidana won. The casuals are a large part of the ppv buying audience.

You say Floyd has no other option but to fight Maidana, lets just see how it plays out. But come september if Floyd actually doesnt fight Maidana, what are you going to say then? because according to you, Maidana is the only option.

I feel you. The only thing that bothers me is the "stop crying" statement that I see thrown around here. No ones crying. I actually watch UFC more then I watch boxing.

I just feel like Maidana gave his best shot, and even resorting to cheating, and he still lost. So to me, close fight or not, once you've given your best shot and resorted to cheating. and you still lose. its like thats my take on it. had he not tried to cheat, and just lost a close fight, my feeling would be different. But knowing he's going to come into this next fight with that same mindset. I feel based on principle floyd needs to decline the rematch. I know business wise it make sense, but based on principle i think maidana should kick rocks.
