But it IS a big deal to fight a fighter who can only beat you via KO, who's known as a big puncher, to have him use bigger gloves which have foam padding instead of the horse hair padding.


That takes any suspense out of the fight imo


Again, Maidana wore the MX gloves that Floyd wont let him wear against Broner, dropped Broner twice, but Broner still finished the fight strong and on his feet. Against Khan, Maidana wore those MX gloves, and Khan still beat him. Against Alexander, Maidana wore the MX gloves, and got beat thoroughly.......Floyd is much better than all of em, so why is he so against Maidana not wearing the same exact gloves (Everlast MX gloves) that he allowed Miguel Cotto to wear against Floyd just 2 years ago?


Is it because Cotto busted his nose up?


I dont know why Floyd is so against the gloves (MX and Reyes) if they're approved by the NSAC and legal


It's basically like he's saying he's gonna fight Marcos Maidana.....but behind closed doors and at the negotiation table, he's taking away the ONLY thing Maidana has a chance to beat him with, his power.

he purposely went to the ropes in the last fight. He's gonna shut Maidana out this time in the same fashion he did Robert Guerrero and everybodys gonna be crying foul

He fought the Cotto fight the same way and people thought his leg were gone when he fought that fight intentionally.
