the nycmesh folks have been trying to get the city to let them put wireless nodes on NYCHA high rooftops for years now and this dude is focusing on weed!
the good an affordable ISP connection could do for this city is immense. I bet there'd be way more open wifi connections than linknyc too.
this is what should be on the fast track. no digging blocks up to lay fiber, just wireless point to point connections folks could pay $20/month for.

I hate spectrum with a passion
they not available in my area but i've seen the complaints online.. these ISP's have a monopoly in this city that they should have especially since WISP's have been a thing for over a decade now.
