The reports say she told Adam’s he needs to “fire” his staff or have them resign to make the administration seem less corrupt. That way she can avoid having him step down by saying regardless of the trial he is still running the city since he filled those roles with non-corrupt lackeys.

The problem is it’s damn near everybody and the rumors are even the non corrupt Execs/Commissioners want to resign to avoid being dragged into this.

The best shot would have been to pressure him to step down and get Jumanne to agree to as speedy as a new election as possible and for HER to come to NYC and use her influence to look competent while the transition happened.

She’s saying Adam’s is too loyal to the crooks he keeps around him, while she is being too loyal to the crook she has kept around her.
