if you like them, then cool...I personally think they're boring, the dialogue is terribly corny, and the car mayhem is ridiculous in a not-fun type of way...shyt is made for teenage boys and even when I was 15 when the first one came out I still found them corny...those shyts have no value imo

what similar movie is better?

Paul and Vin were co-stars. However, Paul Walker was able to carry a FF on his own that did better numbers. Brian's storyline is just much better with the Brian/Dom/Mya dynamic. For this reason, a FF movie without Vin is not gonna be as good as it can be but a FF without Paul Walker is even worse. They are co-stars but if there needs to be a decision made, you trippin if you don't know it was Paul Walker.

I met him when I drove at Mazda Motor Speedway. He was a nice dude man. He came up to Malibu when I visited for a weekend just to say waddup real quick when we were grilling (actually brought shrimp) and brought a Get Well basket himself to my moms when I was in a coma from my car accident and couldnt play football in college anymore. My mom was the one who called me tearing up when he died because she was the one was there when he stopped by and thought it was a nice thing to do. Can't say a bad thing about the guy and the two ppl I know who were legit friends of his said the same thing. He was a good dude. Don't shyt on Running Scared or Hours:ufdup:

Vin diesel has proven he can lead a movie outside of ff to big box office. Paul walker never did. Case in point xXx made 300 million, more that 2f2f made with just paul in it.

Vin was clearly the lead actor in the ff movies. People can point to 2f2f but the movie sold based on the franchise name. Its widely considered the worst ff movie. So a 3rd one if it just starred pw woulda made less.

Vin coming back to the franchise is what rejuvenated it.

Vin uses the ff franchise to get universal to fund riddikk. If paul had asked them to fund something theyd say kick rocks as hes proven he cant open films. That new one he dropped right after he died even flopped.

Riddikk didnt set the box office on fire but it still made a 100 million and has another sequel greenlit.

On top of that ff8&9 will be without paul obviously and possibly without rock and will make huge bank.

I like the tuna here. :myman:

Brehs, what are we arguing about? 2 Fast 2 Furious did very solid box office numbers and Paul was the lead. Everyone knew Vin was out on that one. Paul definitely made a difference in these movies and watch, this next one bout to blow like no other :ohlawd:

Geez this is getting out of hand lol. Paul Walker wasn't the best actor, no doubt...and that scene in 2 Fast where he's gangsta is hilarious and even at 16 I laughed at that in the theater and my homie at the time defended the hell out of it and I gave him the :comeon:

but anyway, as an action film fan, I'm a fan of the last couple Fast flicks, so sue me. Do I think they're high quality art or going to be on a top 10 greatest movie ever list? No, but that's not what they're aiming to do. They're action flicks with a focus on chemistry between actors and set pieces with a story that's at least competently told.

Anyway, dude wasn't great but he was serviceable and I think he was starting to become comfortable in his own skin acting wise and was probably going to show more of what he could do. Whether you liked him as an actor or not, you gotta respect the roles he took because he definitely took some risks and I would've loved to have seen what he did with Agent 47 just to see if he could pull it off (although no one is better than Timothy Olyphant) and by all accounts, dude was the nicest guy walking so why don't we celebrate the man and mourn the fact that a genuinely nice and charitable dude who's one passion was being able to watch his daughter grow up is gone because we give a lot of scumbags passes for the shyt they do all because they entertain us. This was a guy who entertained us (to varying degrees) AND was apparently a good man and good father.
