KD and AD were already the best players in the NBA last year

Lebron's lack of an inability to play elite defense already showed that

lebron still better than both of them. His questionable effort on D had more to do with him having to carry so much of the offense, rather than not being able to play d. When he went hard on D I saw him lock up Blake Griffin (when clips were beasting), Kemba Walker, Shroeder etc..

we already know lebron was the most clutch player in the nba last season

playoff lebron was on another level from everyone else

Duncan was probably considered the best player in the league past the last time Shaq was. Arguably KG.

And to be fair it’s been indisputably LeBron for so long it’s not like there has been a revolving door of “best player” or anything.
When was this :mjlol:

Hes been top 5 but he hasnt been in that top 2 (Bron,Durant)
This.

Bron and Durant have obviously been the two most complete basketball players in the world since 2012. Giannis, Kawhi, and Curry have knocked on that door, but Bron and Durant have always been #1 and #2.

Can everyone in this thread explain to me why if LeBron's still so much better than AD, then why couldn't he take even a single game off the Warriors in this year's playoffs when AD did? While playing no defense and giving up before halftime in game 4 while AD anchored his entire team's defense every game this season and brought a 20+ point deficit in the final game of his series with the Warriors back to single digits before Draymond Green started hitting contested 3s to put the game away??? :jbhmm:

How can you be the undisputed best player in the world if you almost lose to the Pacers and Celtics missing half their payroll, then get swept by the defending champs that 3 different teams in the West took at least a game off of?? Because he averaged some nice stats while playing porous defense in a losing effort??? Y'all crucify Westbrook for the exact same shyt every day on here, while trying to argue that Bron is the best in the world, some of you hardcore stans calling him the best EVER because of it :pachaha:

Not that playing DPOY level defense and being an elite 2-way player automatically makes you the best player in the league; plenty of guys in the history of the league, especially in this era, have been the best/most impactful players while being below average on defense. But if you'e getting swept in the finals, while only securing home court advantage in the barren east by 2 wins, then what exactly is your argument for "undisputed best player"?? Seems kinda weak when other players are winning similar records in a tougher conference, while not getting swept and putting up a fight against the best team in the Warriors, while also not neglecting half of the game of basketball to chase stats. That's just me tho, y'all keep cookin :manny:

Now the claim is going to be "AD is better than LeBron because AD's Game 3 in the WCSF was better than LeBron's Game 1 in the Finals"? :dead::dead::dead:

Not only have you tried to talk like 1 player can control the other 9, but your argument boils down to ONE GAME. If LeBron took ONE GAME off the Warriors, your argument falls apart....which is weird, because LeBron in Game 1 was the greatest anyone has played against the Warriors this year, maybe ever, and they STILL didn't win because 10 guys are on the court at a time.

Your argument is really going to be that LeBron didn't play incredible in the playoffs this year? :dwillhuh:

All the juelzing around means nothing. If you're really gonna be that much of a hater to argue that LeBron didn't play incredibly well in the playoffs this year, you're gonna be on a very lonely island and it's mostly going to be populated with 5'6" Angelinos wearing oversize jerseys. :pachaha:

AD got one of his five wins over the Warriors and LeBron's 12 wins didn't come over them. Wow. It's a five-on-five sport, and AD happened to have his teammates hit 13-28 threes on the same night that the Warriors went 9-31 and Steph couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. Meanwhile, LeBron had one of the greatest Finals games in the history of the sport, and his teammates still blew the game in wildly unprecedented fashion after only hitting 7-30 threes all game and letting literally every Golden State player except Durant have a good game.

Sorry brodie, people are going to remember LeBron's 2018 run for years, while AD's 2018 run is going to go down in history like Hakeem in 1988... :manny:
