He brought so much energy to the show, but this is probably for the best with regards to his mental health. Hope dude gets himself under control because he makes any event 100x more exciting.

He would instantly make AEW commentary 100 times better because JR is beyond awful at this point.
Wherever he goes, I hope that dude finds some peace.
Haven't seen his work in a few years now, but I always thought he was dope and very committed to what he does. Having said that, I get why people don't like him.

I'd recommend his documentary to anyone who hasn't seen it. Great for a lot of reasons and it'll give you some insight as to where that over-the-top style comes from.

And his style is just not a fit whatsoever. The corny pop culture references and shyt is opposite of what they’re trying to portray with the wcw/southern wrestling promotion calling it straight for the most part. I can’t imagine hearing his schtick around those guys and trying to make it work.
He’s like a more polished/professional ROH commentator but they probably can’t afford him or if they’re even doing anything rn. I’d imagine it’s UFC or take some time off, no idea what impact is doing these days or if there would even be mutual interest.
It's not. He's the exact same during PBC and Bellator broadcasts. He's good, but I can see why people don't like him. He got on my nerves when he was with Pride FC and talked over the entrances. He has his faults, but he's better than most.
Ya trippin he was a huge part of why early smackdown live was good.

more than anything. I was just watching Styles vs Cena at Summerslam 16. Mauro helped give the match a big match feel. Cole would've made the match feel like it was on Sunday Night Heat
