There was always alotta excitement because you never knew what you might see him do on the field. At his best, it was like watching a video game play out and the tailgate around the Dome was lit. At its worst, Mike was inconsistent (never had back to back winning seasons, hurt often), combative with the fans (he shot the bird at Falcons fans at the Dome leaving the field) and didn't put the work in to be a great QB. I get that Mike was exciting and I was one of his biggest fans, but people romanticize his career based off of a lot of highlights

As for Saturday, there's little to no buzz for this game :heh: but I think we win. I don't see Goff in his first playoff game winning against us and remember this Falcons team is a top 10 defense and offense. I see us winning straight up
Most folks in GA focused on the title game on Monday.

I don't think anyone was stressed about the Rams. I even talk to my pops a couple days ago and he said the D has been playing lights-out game after game and low-tier QBs like Foles, Keenum, Goff aren't really anyone to be scared of.

Last night was very much a statement game and an example of the difference between regular season ball and the playoffs.

Squad looked focused in all phases of the game and Sarc actually called a good game on offense. :ehh:

One underrated part of this season is how healthy we’ve been all year. Keeping our best players in the game is what will get back to the Super Bowl.

On to Philly.....

Great points. Rams looked like world beaters all season, we looked messy and out of sorts for most of the year. Playoff football is a different beast, a different speed and this team knows how to adjust having been there a year ago. Don't be surprised to see us play our best game next wk against a Nick Foles led Eagles team that hasn't been in the playoffs in a while
