One of the many things I hate about Dan Quinn is this man is terrible at situational football
Luckily the Falcons pulled out the game out but man DQ would've been a scapegoat
if they lost after that hella dumb decision declining the flag late in the 4th quarter
that would've backed the aints up for a long FG.

I heard his reasoning and you can tell Pete Carrol “overthinking” rub off on him greatly. Defense was playing good enough for you to accept the penalty no need to be cute or try to be smart.

It was only a bad call because it was against Sean Payton, possibly the most aggressive coach in the league. At least 1/2 of the coaches in the league kick the FG there, probably 2/3. If he accepted the penalty and they converted on 3rd & 11 then all we would hear is why would you give Drew Brees another chance.

That said, I want Dan Quinn to be my coach 6 days a week no doubt but not gameday at this point. We really need an asst. HC who he'll listen to in big moments. Nobody on this staff has any real experience at this point besides Morris and it shows.

Totally agree. Dan Quinn learning on the job and has not gained a feel for the game you expect a HC that led a team to Super Bowl to have.
