Feel free to do a victory lap because y'all won, but Stafford wasn't the reason. The reason was because:

1) McVay didn't shyt down his leg (He almost low key did, but Taylor was on the other sideline making that rock fight full of dumb offensive decisions even.....if Taylor commits 25 carries to Mixon you're not upping this thread)

2) Y'all defensive coaching staff showed up along with y'all defensive line because your star CB shouldn't have left the hotel

3) OBJ in the first half. Kupp in the game winning drive.

Stafford was very fortunate, but y'all won so have fun.

I mean Goff wasnt gonna perform anywhere near Matthew and Matthews performance contributed to a ring, end of story.

The result allows you to talk fly and not Stafford's play. That's my fukking point. You're moving goalposts by trying to compare Goff, or Goff's SB performance, because McVay has literally admitted to coaching malpractice with Goff in the first super bowl. Enjoy the Super Bowl win. It didn't happen because of the Stafford trade. He was just along for the ride and between both him and McVay they almost fukked that up until Kupp and AD and Raheem and Von saved them PLUS Taylor forgetting his first string RB exists.

You should actually be talking cash money shyt to me in the AD thread not this one.

It literally did though bruh. You think Goff is hitting that deep pass to Kupp to beat Tampa? LA didn't have the dominate run game they had the year they went to the SB with Goff. You think Goff is taking this team to the playoffs/SB on his arm talent?

Who was getting them passes to Kupp on that last drive? And he wasn't wide open either, Stafford had to get that ball into a very tight window on a couple of those.

You just hating right now be honest.

Stafford is literally better than Goff at every QB aspect. This is the playoffs. Qbs rarely dominate the playoffs. It’s about them coming through when the team needs them. And Stafford did that in the playoffs and all season.

It validates the Goff trade...

I do feel sorry for Goff, it's like DeRozan watching that Raptors team he fought with for years win it all the year after he left. Hope Goff finds redemption like DeMar has with Chicago...

Demar isn’t getting any redemption until he gets a championship ring on his finger.

Goffs limitations is what led to Beli being able to counter McVay so easily. Stafford made throws that Goff doesn’t make plain and simple.

Also remember we were down our 2nd, 3rd and 4th option in the passing game. The fact that Stafford and Kupp were able to consistently connect on that final drive was magical. There is no way we win that without Stafford…absolutely no way. We don’t even beat Tampa without him.

I disagree. He threw 9 TDs 100 QB rating in the playoffs. That isn't "along for the ride" in my book. They weren't winning a SB with Goff.

What I like about Stafford this playoffs is when he fukked up, he had a short memory. He balled right after fukkups. He had an amazing 4th quarter comeback record playing with Detroit. Son is a gamer. He makes mistakes but I'd rather see him make mistakes by being aggressive than a QB who makes mistakes while still p*ssy-footing and can't overcome them.

I'm not sure you look at:
1. How the Patriots schemed up that Super Bowl on defense
2. What happened in that Tampa game
3. The Rams' run game this year vs. the Gurley years
4. The WR core being depleted, code red status during the Super Bowl...

And say Goff vs. Stafford is awash. The Patriots were so dominant defensively that I'll shy away from flat out saying they would have won with him that year, but Jared Goff damn sure isn't going into Tampa and winning...or executing on that final Rams drive. No way.
