Matt Stafford traded to rams for Goff and picks

I can't answer for sure because I don't know who we are going to lose this offseason.

Based on the fact we're in cap hell and one would assume we will lose some players, I have to imagine we will take a step back this season. Thus, it doesn't really make sense for us to trade that for Stafford.

Now if all we were going to lose was Drew this year and still have the rest of our core players, then yeah I would have made this trade. But our window was shut after this season IMO.

Now Watson I'd give the farm for lol. But I'm fine with rolling with Winston in what will likely be a bridge year for us.

Goff is gonna do good under Anthony Lynn direction

He didn't do much under McVay I doubt Lynn will get anymore out of him. Plus playing the Bears and Packers defense twice year ain't gonna help him either.

He's 32. Yall acting like he's near retirement. Rams are being held back by their QB, so they made a move. Those are late 1st picks so damn near 2nd rounders. Steep price to pay but Rams were desperate and unwilling to see their window close trying to wait for Goff to play like a functioning QB.

They went all in so I respect it. Wonder what the price is for Deshaun. My goodness.
