They can bend their kneesGoldberg is 53.
HHH is 51
Kane is 53
AJ is 43
Keith Lee is 35
Tamina is 43
MVP 46.
R Truth is older than him
Should they all retire also?
If he doesn't think the Broken Matt stuff works without an audience then he should settle into a backstage gig and help develop angles and shyt.
But nobody is looking for regular old Matthew Hardy.
Seems crazy they been around almost since raw debuted
Pretty wild that Jeff Hardy wasn't even 18 yet when he made his debut
"I ever tell you about the time my brother and I wrestled The Million Dollar Corporation in a Texas Tornado match in Texas during a tornado?"I dunno, I think you can create a character out of "Regular" Matt Hardy. Just an old guy with back and knee problems, has a million ice packs on him at all times, thinking of about the good old days, telling long-winded stories that go nowhere to Private Party and stumbling around because his vision's deteriorating
"I ever tell you about the time my brother and I wrestled The Million Dollar Corporation in a Texas Tornado match in Texas during a tornado?"
if this is the start of him going back.
so he can do all the gimmicks, of tag team matt.
to version one to money matt to king Julian becomes a wrestler in human form. All under an aew banner.
I have no issue.
especially if jeff can ever leave the WWE.
leading to the return of heel suit and tie jeff.
including the return of:
this as jeff's exact theme music.
without the cluck junkie ending.
or the obvious trash of bischoff and hogun stinking up thr place.
for sting to clean up hardy, to hogun with thr brilliant joker sting character.
if we could see suit&tie jeff.
without the simp sucka fa love lame matt.
who needed redemption that lead to all this.
then i would like to see it all done properly.
without having the rug pulled from under him by a cheating gf this time.
which created all this in the first place.
I think it would be great to see.
as the redemption story of the hardy's.
especially matt has been reached. It just needs a reboot.
now it is on a stage where matt has creative freedom.
Plus looks to be in an excellent place in life. Where he will not fall off because of his love life. Which lead to the destruction of his draw.
to rebolster everything through the eye of the storm.
the hardy's already best the redemption storyline.
when they beat the bucks for the superkick titles and the ladder match job.
which lead to then resurfacing in the wwe. Who botched the reincarnation gimmicks and stole the cinematic match style and aesthetic.
from said hardy's moving forward. Well after they rebolstered their draw.
from the impact tries and fails.
to steal their character situation as well.

I think even he knows that and AEW management probably had that discussion. Jeff on the otherhand......He needs to retire. It looks like he's not capable of bending his knees when he walks. His matches are absolute trash at this point.

I mean he's been teasing revolving through all his gimmicks quite a bit, so when he says he just is going to be himself now. I don't know what that means. It seems like he's abandoning the "relive all the past gimmicks" angle doesn't it?
Regarding Jeff, I loved his "corporate" heel run in TNA, (theme is a banger too). I would be down for a suit and tie heel run from him or both as a tag team again. Maybe Matt is already heel and Jeff comes in "This isn't what we were raised to be, I've just overcome my demons and you're succumbing to yours?" Then they tease a feud with no physical contact then Jeff turns on whatever babyface team is hot at the time and they have a good tag team feud set up there?
Lots of cool possibilities. You could even just have him debut against a suit and tie heel Matt Hardy and capitalize off Jeff's huge fan support for awhile, that would also be a piff singles storyline.
