There's nothing weird about it. Kobe is ranked top 3-5 by most NBA players and coaches whereas the media and nerds on the net have been placing him outside the top 10 for years. There's no NBA legend who's ranking varies so widely. Kobe will never get a proper ranking by the traditional outlets so its important to note when players and coaches talk about his true ranking.

Also, once again, you're in here blaming for Kobe stans for a wider basketball phenomenon. I've seen REAL, NBA PLAYERS (aka, not fans on the The Coli) get asked about MJ vs Bron and bring up Kobe out of nowhere. We've seen REAL, NBA players speak passionately about him all the time well after he retired. Just in the last 4-5 months how many NBA players been on Vlad TV talking about Kobe's legacy? Be honest about why this is and stop blaming stans.
