The 90s weren't perfect but there was definitely variety for men and women. Chocolate bw had representation. Now you only see them on tumblr/Instagram in 'darkskin are beautiful too groups'. On the other hand ds men have been pushed heavy in media.

And the issue isn't even ls bw cause even their representation isn't there. The push is primarily biracial women. Even in roles where bw should be playing.

Yeah, although he is kinda cherry picking his stats. He’s going from the last 15 years. If you look at the last 30 then it’s pretty much even. If you took 1985-2000 the poppin black singers that were brown to dark outnumbered those who were light.
