I don't think it was significantly better than their last takeover match...both were great but this one is more hyped.

Considering I thought the BK match was a legit MOTYC, the Toronto one being better makes it THE MOTY for me. Better than any New Japan, Big Japan and All Japan match I've seen so far

Omega/Goto was better than Omega/Naito, and I'm a much bigger fan of Naito than Goto. Omega/Naito was 100% mindless spotfest.

i kinda wanna say the traditional survivor series match. so much fukkery in that match.

That's like saying Rock vs Hogan is overrated because people were just excited to see them in the same ring.

The fact that people were excited is part of what makes those matches so memorable. That's kind of the entire goal of pro wrestling as a form of entertainment.

Rock hogan is a three star match.
It has five star nostalgia as a spectacle but not a five star match.

Beisdes all the usual suspects that everyone already named, I'll say The Hardy's/Decay at Bound For Glory. Just off of sheer fun factor and fukkery. It was a really good match, non stop fukkery and it had a great build.

I forget which one it was but there was a five star decay tag match.
The one where crazy steve gets his face dragged in tacks.
Match is fuego,......

Styles Cena at Summerslam is my MOTY. I've seen better in ring matches, but none have had as much meaning. I regularly rewatch the last 5 minutes.

When Styles kicked out of the avalanche AA and I knew he was about to win the feud.



Breh went over Cena clean after a few months on the roster. He was that good vince couldn't deny him.

This is a thing now. They push all the indy guys over Cena quickly to give them some relevance to the fans who otherwise wouldn't care about them.
