You know I’m not a big zombie fan lol. I respect him but Sam is more my speed. Evil dead, evil dead 2, army of darkness, and drag me to hell.

To your point tho, Sam has produced more horror than he’s directed and zombie has him beat in terms of horror output. One reason I don’t think this is a fair matchup but

@Daredevil i have a proposal so these matchups at least look fair on paper lol. Match similar filmmakers like you did with carpenter and Craven. Zombie and Eli Roth is a dope matchup whereas Sam should be up against someone like joe Dante or Stuart Gordon. Match sensibilities
