But what people fail to understand is that Rob Zombie doesn't put out the content to the same extent as the mega horror movie creators, directors and writers. Rob puts out mainstream movies like once ever 5 yrs but his main productions are not necessarily catered for a mainstream audience. Of course he's not going to have the same fanbase as the big names. That's not a fair fight.

Forgot I do love Salem’s lot
His site is actually pretty tame and uneventful - just a lot of homage type throwback stuff. Photo shoots from his movies, it seems like that page was geared more toward his "hard rock" fans and music than his horror movies. Pics of him and his wife mostly at concerts, with Marilyn Manson -
not all that movie oriented or what I expected tbh.
That scene with the kid in the window is etched in my brain. Haven't watched it in years. Watched it at a young age and always closing the blinds, locking my bedroom window before I went to bed. Then staring over at the window until I was tired enough to fall asleep. I remember this movie distinctly bc this was the first time that my parents decided that I could have a tv in my own room for the first time and this is what I decided to watch.
This is another one of those type movies I need to rewatch as an adult, might do that tonight.
Despite my utter disdain for TEXAS CHAINSAW, I recognize it's importance in horror film-making history plus I love POLTERGEIST, LIFEFORCE, SALEM'S LOT and INVADERS FROM MARS more than most of Wan's output.
