Beatings By The Pound, while y’all bullshytting, would actually be a dope ass name for a stable. And to make it even better, would be cool if they was some thugged out Black British wrestlers hailing from Brixton or some shyt.:mjlol:

:ohhh:

They would definitely be like characters out of 'Snatch'.

Two Jamaican brothers. Dalton and Winston.

They'd be managed by their younger brother, Kingston, who is a legit businessman, but he has a grime crew from back in the day who he dispatches to jump their opponents before matches like the OG Shield.:lupe:

"IT'S FRIDAY NIGHT, WHEN THE MANDEM FIGHT! WE WANT ALL THE P'S AND THE FOOD, PERCY!":damn:

Money.:wow:

KLC would probably sue the pants off of them if he owns the rights to the "beats by the pound" name.

EDIT: then again, they did change their name to the medicine men, when most of them left no limit.

I always thought legally if you make a minor change in something trademark you will be fine.

Like they (the Medicine Men) were called BEATS By the Pound.

I was saying the faction can be BEATINGS By the Pound.

Just like say you trademarked Homeboy Runny-Ray. But I come out with the name Homeboi Runny-Rey!

Didn’t think you can do anything to stop me from running that:russ:

Or am I wrong?:ohhh: Let me know:lolbron:

if I was the real runny-ray, I could sue for that.

and KLC seems like the petty police. so if he has ownership of the name, then its a wrap.

and theres been worse in wrestling. the WWF tried to file a suit against the GWF cuz "global" is too synonymous with "world".
the wwf did force wcw to make the renegade lean back tho.

Running gag based on this thread.
https://www.thecoli.com/threads/nic...-and-i-still-believe-it-just-add-wale.370373/

Nick has an abundance of resources...but most brehs couldn't see the vision and laughed at OP.

Interesting timing too, because nick just officially got his own talk show, which would be a great promo tool. Now with master p in the fold I dont think there's a market for two rapper owned feds.

P doesn't have the pull nick has, so hopefully he can flourish with his.
I will get the last laugh :to:

I didn't know Westside Gunn was tight with the House Of Glory crew like that either.:leon:

Their merch game could potentially be bananas. All due respect to P's business acumen, but Pen & Pixel designing with WSG curating a collection could be :ohlawd:

Pretty much every piece of Griselda merch sells out damn near instantly. I guess its down to the scarcity and all that, but he has a really good grasp on how to make some collectible shyt for the late 10's market. He even has the Fourth Rope imprint for wrestling T's. shyt might lowkey give HOG an extra cool factor too. :jbhmm:

So hes gonna run this into the ground like he did No Limit?
in the hiphop industry No Limit is every bit the success story. They were an independent label out of New Orleans of all places, they got a major distribution deal and they made hundreds of millions of dollars. Most independent labels never scratched that. :martin: At one point No Limit RAN the rap game.

Crazy how people automatically shyt on Master P. I wish nothing but the best for P in this shyt. :salute:

Because southern hip hop wouldn't be where it's at today based solely off no limits success. God forbid there wasn't rap a lot and cash money around
Cash money owes all their success to No Limit. Rap-A-Lot was always a staple of in the southern region, but they never peaked like No Limit did.

I've never watched House of Glory and don't know much about them but if P was smart he could make it like a black version of Lucha Underground. There are a lot of black wrestling fans out there and probably black folks who would probably get into wrestling if they saw black wrestlers in prominent positions that's not c00ning. Not saying it has to have a 90% black roster but a good mix of different races, nationalities, etc.
