So Cal
U can laugh at him now, but if you were there for the NL heyday and how ppl, myself included would just cop shyt just because it had the Tank on it....in my opinion I'd say he's not far off
If social media was around that means the internet is around, which means people are downloading. He's done nothing but flop since the internet popped. He's definitely far off.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
But the thing is you can't just isolate the technology of this social media era and not include how easy it is to illegally download albums today as well.
Why can’t you? It’s called a hypothetical situation. You can literally make up anything you want when it’s time to play devil’s advocate. You might as well never have the argument of anything sales if you gonna say “well illegal downloads would mean it won’t happen”. Same era that these dudes going “platinum” based off streams before the album is even released. Just discount that shyt for a sec.

Dude sold 500 million without it. I’m sure if he had the marketing power of it, but everything else in his era was the same, he’d do a billy. Just imagine how flossy they already was but being all over social with it. New dances. Dropping all those albums like nikkas drop mixtapes today but be the only one doing it.

but social media would have meant

internet

which includes

mp3s

Therefore

I would have gotten Master Ps shyt like I got every single track I own after about 2003 or so

Even if I would have been more prone to add it to my collection, I wouldn't cop shyt

I have a bunch of No Limit shyt now that I haven't listened to in over a decade. Shout out to How Ya Do That There. More specifically Young Bleed

Ya. There's alot of hating ass nikkas in this thread.

P sold 100 mill without IG or Twitter, and you nikkas are begging people to listen to your SoudClouds on IG daily. I believe in him more than I believe in you and your 1700 followers.

Respect this man.

Does No Limit even have any classics under their label?
Nope :mjlol: maybe REGIONAL or personal fan favorites but nah most of No Limit's discography is :trash: watered down shyt that was done 2-4 yrs by better artists before No Limit started gaining mainstream notability.
