Did that art work make the retail version? I remember this artwork in the ads, but I feel like the version I purchased had the edited cover.

Koalabama and the Cosmos
Looking back at that album, I felt like it was an attempt to get into the mainstream. The album was good, but it's not touching Ice Cream Man. Ghetto D had some bangers but a WHOLE lot of filler, plus this was the beginning stages of P dikkriding 2Pac. Meanwhile, Ice Cream Man was legit the shyt. I could play that album from Intro to My Ghetto Heroes and not have the urge to skip a track.

I cannot explain Skull Druggery, but Steady Mobbn was stay in the bay area and that was the year where Master P relocated back to the N.O..... Steady Mobbn like Young Bleed where they're more affiliated than regulars... As for Soulja Slim, he wasn't signed yet... he got signed the same day Snoop did.

I thought I was the only one that felt ICE CREAM MAN was his best album...

Which songs are fillers in yo opinion & why ?
I can pretty much play this album through as well so :yeshrug:

Nice to know that bout Slim, but Steady Mobbn actually appeared more regularly on the nl albums in 1998, so it always struck to me as somewhat weird, that they didnt appear on this album.

Let me put it this way...for every dope track like Weed & Money, there were meh tracks like Plan B, Throw Em Up, and Stop Hatin. Also, some of the tracks lacked that gutter Beats By The Pound greatness that was sprinkled on Tru 2 Da Game and Ice Cream Man.

Is there a version of the CD with the uncensored artwork? I had the CD in the weird orange case with censored artwork 20 years ago. LOL
