Massive layoffs at Sports Illustrated

It’s time to rethink how they attract readers. The only time I picked up a Sports Illustrated is if I’m in a waiting room.
They are relatively irrelevant in today’s twitter and talk show news cycle. Best known for their magazine covers and not their content 
Not surprising since the private equity firm blackrock became the majority shareholder for Authentic brands.
Internet killed the magazine star

Yeah they should’ve tried to transition to an online brand along the lines of bleacher report 10 years ago... the print magazine industry been dead...
