damnExplosion hits fertilizer plant north of Waco, Texas - CNN.com
"A massive explosion at a fertilizer plant in the small Texas town of West left at least two people dead, leveled several homes and prompted a widescale evacuation in the community of 2,600 people.
Fire officials fear that the number of casualties could rise much higher -- as many as 60 to 70 dead, said Dr. George Smith, the emergency management system director of the city."
There were firefighters on the scene trying to put the fire out before it exploded. If you listen to the radio dispatch that @macpat posted, you can hear them saying they have lots of firefighters down.
6 confirmed, and a lot of the area is not accessible now. Doctor at the nursing home says they have plenty that will have to be pronounced dead.
This is some sad shyt.
They not saying all that on the local news.
