Tensions have been rising since Japan's government announced a plan last week to purchase three of what it calls the Senkaku islands from the Japanese family that has controlled them for decades. China has protested the move at the United Nations and sent vessels to the area in an expression of force. Taiwan, which also claims the island chain, has also sent ships to nearby waters.

the x factor here is north korea once again... that fakkit kim jong un is eager to prove he's gonna be a greater leader than his father and sources have reported him as being hawkish on skorea/japan despite being raised abroad, but his advisors wont let him make any moves and chinas shadow looms over him... if he think theres a green light to go in on japan the north koreans would probably go 10x harder then the chinese ever would cuz they have basically nothing to lose...its like the bummy homeboy you have that takes your beefs more serious then you do and is always on some shoot em up shyt

im not saying there isnt anti japnese sentiment but this is a non story, these are just government sanctioned protests, they dont have any significance and they have zero impact, the chinese government has been anti japanese for 50 years if not longer
