I went to Western for 2 years. Were there rednecks? Sure. But I also lived in Gainesville for 3 years and Orlando for 4 years and I can tell you that North Florida and even parts of Central Florida are FAR worse. Like my dude @Tony_Bromo said, people don't even hide their racism in North Florida. Them crackers up there throw around the word ****** in every day speech like it's no big deal; literally not even trying to hide it, they'll say that shyt in the deli line of Publix while waiting for a sub. No fukks given.

I stay out near the Davie/Pines border and have friends that live ALL the way out West in Southwest Ranches damn near in the Everglades, that's about as redneck as you'll get in South Florida, and I'm telling you, it's not even close to being the same.

ive lived in miami and broward and now in the palm beach....i dont ever recollect broward being as racist as Mississippi.
yes, parts of davie and cooper city/southwest ranches LOOK pretty country....well actually Davie is a bit racist. but not to the point of confederate flags hanging everywhere. but thats about it.
