Did what decision?
I'll say this, this situation is more or less about blacks in austin being pushed to the outskirts and broke racist red necks not liking it and less about a federal decision.

Round Rock police are investigating a shooting incident Saturday night that left two people dead and multiple others injured during a Juneteenth celebration at Old Settlers Park, located at 1371 Harrell Parkway in Round Rock.
At about 10:50 p.m., the shooting began during an altercation between two groups at the event, Round Rock Police Chief Allen Banks said. Two people died as a result of the incident, and multiple injured bystanders were transported to area hospitals, Chief Banks said during a news briefing early Sunday morning.
The victims were not part of the altercation, Chief Banks said. Additional information about the victims is not yet available.
Those directly involved in the incident immediately fled. Police do not have any suspects in custody and are searching for suspects during this ongoing investigation.

Let's say the guns are banned. Do they evaporate? You still got confiscate them and most people aren't going to give it up. It'll only work in certain states.
Let's say the govt goes to extensive lengths to confiscate it. By the time it's all said and done, we'll be printing guns in our garages and attics.
All the countries that "successfully" banned guns will be flooded by the end of this century or the next century. Don't let presentism takeover your foresight and hindsight.
