I went last month. Its not the same at all right now. But you're right, theres def a good amount of people that dont give a fukk. Vegas was pretty spot on about mask requirements etc so the casinos are playing ball. It was mostly Cali people there when I went.
Exactly same thing I saw last month. Low traffic and crowds

Whatever happened to the people that was wounded have any of them put out any videos of what happened or what happened since??:patrice:

Have any lawsuits been settled? If not, I’m guessing most victims are being advised by lawyers not to discuss it yet.

Wow... I still hear about Sandy Hook and the Orlando Nightclub, but never about the Vegas Shooter. Feels like it's been swept under the rug.
this was fukkin insane. easily a more clear and present danger than those two for most people...or at least equal danger. the fact that it was white country fans killed to and its not talked about is shocking

Steve Paddock scouted out multiple different festivals or venues like Life is Beautiful, Lollapalooza, and Boston's Fenway Park too.

He just so happened to pick a country festival. I haven't gone to a big city festival since... shyt has made me big paranoid after watching all the people video of this shyt.

Portraits of the Las Vegas massacre victims

Profiles of victims from ABC News. October of this year.

You guys are right that this story is very quiet for the amount of lives lost. And I agree it’s probably because they’re trying to prevent copycats.

Sorta like how the Micah X and Chris Dorner shootings aren’t discussed. Other than that Chapelle special… :aicmon:

But I guess that doesn’t count cuz Chapelle isn’t really pro-Black because he knows Joe Rogan and didn’t grow up in Barry Farms Or Clifton Terrace.

the ether
they still got no clear motive whatsoever is why

Yeah, the late of motive and lack of clear victim "type" has made it less of a narrative story than when kids die or when there's a specific hate/ideology involved.

From what I can tell, they're still looking at an entire complex of factors.

* Former postal worker
* Possible mental illness
* Depressed, drank a lot, on anti-anxiety meds
* Gun nut to some degree
* Possible health issues
* Possibly lost a lot of money recently
* Had beef with the casino industry
* Atheist with no clear hope in life

Could just be a case where an ambiguous mix off all that shyt put him over the edge.

a lot of time the search for "motive" is just people who want to make simplistic sense out of things that can be somewhat incomprehensible.

I don't mean the FBI seeking to understand what happened, but more like the common man who says "why would he do this!!"

There is no why. There are causes. His motive is not really understandable by the lay man.

A lot of mass shootings are close to this. Columbine was another. The media made motive was almost entirely constructed.

Columbine was absolutely not that. Klebold and Harris were nazis and it’s no coincidence they did it on 4/20. They tried planning attacks in other places but couldn’t get the logistics of it down so they shot up the school instead.
