Exactly.
Dudes who are really in the field know nowadays. You can go to school, get an education, be attractive, be fit, be tall, be charismatic, be hardworking and it wont make much of a difference. The sheer numbers just arent in your favor anymore. You get the dream job only to be laid off alongside your peers because the company wants to improve profits by half a percent. Now you gotta compete against 100s of applicants for a job you dont even want. You find and nab the girl you want, and treat her good only to get tossed to the curb because you said a random thing that upset her.
Now dont get me wrong...these are things that have always happened in life...but it has never been this bad and this difficult. Capitalism and feminism have never been this pervasive. Back then you could get a new job relatively quickly. My dad was unemployed at one point as a kid and landed a new job in a month if not less - he told me it took one interview. I had been unemployed for ten months til today and I am taking a 35% pay cut lol despite having grade A qualifications. Back then a shorty got mad at you, yall could stick it out because the options were relatively limited. Now, a shorty just gotta hop on an app and find a new dude.
The game is very different now and anyone acting like its 1998 is out of touch...
