I honestly don't see Rutgers play being anywhere below the play coming out of the Big Ten.

And if anything, being in the Big Ten is going to have more NJ players stay in NJ.

In the big east though they had a shot at conference titles, theyres no Ohio State or Michigan to contend with who when at their peak Rutgers cant match those schools

Yea but if Rutgers is constantly 5-7 every season it won't matter.

But they've improved, and if they go into the league following up this year's success, they can easily remain there if they keep their NJ players.

No I agree Rutgers got better, maybe I'm over estimating the big 10. I just want to see them get a few 11-1 seasons where they're at before climbing the proverbial ladder, but like you said the Big 10 money is large.

Indeed. If Rutgers can offer their recruits, particularly the NJ ones, Big 10 visibility, they can start to keep their players home.

NJ is the most underrated football state in the country IMO. A lot of players come out of here and many of the top HS programs are based here.

Completely agree, surprising how many solid NFL players are from the Garden State. I watched quite a few of them play when they were pop warner kids.

But you might see Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State gobbling up all that NJ talent now.

I agree. I think Rutgers is a very solid program and could compete in the Big 10
