Because they add nothing tv wise. There's potential but why get them or Cincinnati when you can get FSU/Ga Tech/Clemson/ and Notre Dame. I still think they could go to the big 12 but only after they invite bigger programs.

This is a bad idea for both teams, especially Rutgers. Rutgers could dominate or at least be competitive in the big east. They would get slaughtered in the big ten.

I honestly don't see Rutgers play being anywhere below the play coming out of the Big Ten.
And if anything, being in the Big Ten is going to have more NJ players stay in NJ.
