You gotta understand post new Jack swing Harlem/ nyc. In the bad boy era, we learned how to watch the room, two step, floss, and handle a drink at the same time. Like @Spectre said about the schmoney dance, we really ain't changed since.

I still dance like this unless it's an active twerk beat or afro pop, a legit bop but not so fast my drink spill. :hubie:

Word. I feel you.

Hell, I still dance like this my damn self. Just that simple vibe bop. No extra attention seeking shyt.

It's a vibe breh

Not every dance gotta be super coordinated

Some songs u just let go and just vibe out

Remember the Shmurda dance?

It’s one of the many things that make us dope, the impromptu vibe, some of the greatest music, moments, dances etc came from black folks vibing out

Please see my last post. :queen:

I was at the shrine one night in a group, chatting with a Nigerian breh from Houston. We talking and dancing but not dancing together, if that makes sense, and he expressed surprise that i kept up with all the different genres/ dancing styles. I told him, ":mjtf: It's in my blood, the beat tells me how to move." He was duly chastened.

In the same way, 90s era hip hop tells me how to move. :yeshrug:

The Shrine :scust:
It's nothing but a small ass space w/ a bunch of thirsty Africans who fukk up the vibe :scust:

I remember my boy was trying to hype up going there a year ago, and I was like "you can't really pull bytches there it ain't set up for that :francis:"

Sure enough, didn't bag shyt :mjcry:
Open spaces like First Saturdays at BK Musuem or Festivals to meet something new>>>
