NOT MAKING EXCUSES FOR HIM. BUT, THERE IS A VALID REASON WHY THE CLOSE THE DOORS DURING OFFERING. ITS A SECURITY THING. BIG CHURCHES HAVE LARGE AMOUNTS OF CASH MOVING DURING OFFERING. THERE NEEDS TO BE A CLEAR PATH TO THE SPOT WHERE THEY SECURE IT. RANDOM PEOPLE FLOATING AROUND THE FOYER WHEN THAT MONEY IS MOVING IS A HUGE RISK.

THE USUALLY CLOSE THE DOORS A FEW MINUTES BEFORE. THE USHERS ARE SUPPOSED TO DO IT WITHOUT HIM SAYING. THAT'S PROBABLY WHY HE IS SO ANNOYED. THE DOORS ARE CLOSED FOR A FEW THINGS. OFFERING, PRAYER, INVITATION FOR MEMBERSHIP. I WAS AN USHER AS A KID FOR MANY YEARS.

EVEN WITH THAT, THE WAY HE WAS ASKING FOR THE 40K STILL DIDN'T SIT RIGHT WITH ME. USUALLY IF THERE IS A DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENT, THAT IS DISCUSSED BY DEPARTMENT HEADS PRIOR TO. HE NOT SUPPOSED TO BRING THAT UP AT ALL. YOU DELEGATE THAT WEEKS BEDORE. MAKES ME BELIEVE THAT THE MONEY RIGHT.

Yep, this isn't new.

Not sure why this one went viral.

Particularly when they travel to a convention to speak.

It bothers me that they say it's for a miracle. Some ppl really do need a miracle in their life and $20 for them might not be "easy"

It went viral because he said “close the doors”. Once you say that it changes into “hold up, is this nikka trying to hold people hostage”. That’s why it went viral.

I’ve been in plenty of churches where the pastor said he was gonna keep preaching until a certain number of people came up for the alter call or became members. I just sat there looking at my watch, because I was leaving at 12 no matter what he had going on.
