:mjpls:

Joe Smith went number one in that draft.
Joe Smith was considered the best player in the ACC.
He never made it to an all star game.
Better players got picked after him including Sheed, KG, Stackhouse, McDyess,

Something about Bagley I just don't like. I always felt his game was suited for the college level.
Maryland players can't get a break :wow:

Joe getting dissed in 2018
Flabchise gets it on the daily :francis:

Steve Blake I see nobody talking bad on tho :dame:

My Pops Forever RIP
Thing is the hype around him was his offensive skill set. He was supposed to come right in the league and avg 18 while being an rebounding beast so it’s not a good look for breh to be struggling against d league talent. And he’s already injured
It's summer league. There's nothing you can really take out of this.

The hype was around his motor and second jump ability. He doesn’t have much of an offensive skillset right now outside of a lefty hook

His game is kind of a poor mans young Amare right now. He’s just a bull in a china shop he needs to refine his game

Maybe "skill set" was bad term because it's not like he was being hyped as the next tim duncan or hakeem in the post. but with his athleticism, hustle/rebounding, and offensive efficiency in college they def were hyping bol as a plug and play offensive player with the potential to expand his game into a stretch 4 ala chris bosh since he hit 40% on the few threes he took at duke
dude is not a rim protector so it's obvious his offensive upside is such for him to go #2 :yeshrug:

The pro level talent coming out of UNC has fallen waaaaaay off... UNC used to be the standard for pro talent in the ACC... my how things change :wow:

exactly it's Duke and kentucky right now. kansas is making noise as well. UNC not so much even after their championship.

PG - Maryland
Hes far from a bust but he does seem like a wasted pick with all the players drafted far below him putting up numbers.

Hes under-performing and is currently injured. Doesnt look good.

Teams want the "Next KD" so bad....Lakers with Ingram and now the Kings this year with Bagley...Wasted drafts for both teams.

I wonder if the Pumas contributed to his injury
